What you can expect from Talktruz, and what we expect from you. We have tried to write it so that reading it is possible.

These terms are an agreement between you andTalktruz, the company behind Talktruz. By using the app or the website you accept them. If you do not, do not use the service.
- 01Who can use it
- You need to be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and at least 13 in any case. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian has to agree to these terms on your behalf. We may need to verify your age and can close an account if we cannot.
- 02Your account
- Your account is tied to your phone number and is yours alone. Keep access to that number secure, because anyone who controls it can receive the code that signs in. Tell us quickly if you think someone else has access. We will never ask you for a code or a password.
- 03What you record
- What you say stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to carry it: to store the audio briefly, deliver it to the person you sent it to, and play it back. We do not claim ownership, we do not use your recordings to train anything, and we do not licence them onward.
- 04How long it lasts
- Voice notes are deleted twenty-four hours after they are first heard, unless someone keeps one. Deletion is the normal behaviour of the product rather than a favour. Once a note is gone we cannot recover it, including for you.
- 05What you may not do
- Do not use Talktruz to harass, threaten, or deceive anyone, to record people without their knowledge where that is unlawful, to send anything you have no right to send, or to break the service on purpose. Do not resell access or automate accounts. We can suspend an account that does these things.
- 06Subscriptions
- Paid tiers renew automatically until cancelled. Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are billed by Apple or Google under their terms, and refunds for those go through them rather than us. Prices can change, and we will tell you before a change affects a renewal.
- 07Ending it
- You can stop at any time and delete your account from the app. We can suspend or end an account for a breach of these terms, for a legal requirement, or if we stop offering the service. If we shut down, we will give reasonable notice.
- 08What we do not promise
- The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of faults, and we are not responsible for a message that does not arrive, for a device that fails, or for anything a person on your grid says to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
- 09Changes to these terms
- We may update these terms as the product changes. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Talktruz after that means you accept the updated terms.
- 10Law and disputes
- These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts of India. If you are a consumer, this does not take away rights you have under the law where you live.

Terms are usually written to be survived rather than read. If something in this one seems one-sided or unclear, that is worth hearing, and the contact page goes to a person.
